Requirements determination - 1
Activities for determining requirements include
· Assemble and document contract objectives/technical requirements
· As best known at the time
· Assess availability of appropriate skill resources
· I.e. whether in-house or in the market place
· Determine best delivery options
· E.g. buy, build, rent, lease or license
· Determine who will be responsible for
· Architecture and/or engineering design
· I.e. in-house, or under contract
Requirements determination - 2
· Make preliminary determination of single or multiple contracts
· And/or in-house work packages
· Make preliminary determination
· Of most suitable project organizational structure
· Based on the foregoing information and decisions
· Make preliminary determination of contracting risk
The result should be
· A documented set of contracting objectives
